got a 91 4x4 automatic transmission 22re truck that has no timing advance.i have set the tps and checked all voltage outputs,replaced the igniter and coil and just replaced the computer which was very hard to find and very expensive,but still no advance on the ignition timing. when i set the timing with the check connectors jumped, i set it at five degrees,but when i remove the jumper and rev the engine it stays at five degrees.it runs very poor like this and the transmission feels very jerky,probably because the engine is not producing any power,hope somebody has a suggestion for me because i am at my wits end,thanks for looking.
