Ok I know not much updates lately, been working a lot and its been really hot, like over 100 degrees, but I did get somethin done after work today. Installed a new cd player my girlfreinds dad gave me. So nice to have the Aux and cd player work!

Sweet, congratz! Just finally got my amp installed and the JL 10" sub.... loving the ability to multi-adjust the sounds.... AND I KNOW, just like you, what it's like to have a deck for DAYZ that's not really capable of much! haha... Cool update.... don't minimize the 'SOUNDS' updates, right? hahaha.

I used 8AWG heavy insulated cable I got at Signal Electronics, a store for this type of thing and more, here in CA. BUT, I have got wire before at the Auto Parts store. It's also usually available pretty reasonable at Lowe's and Home Depot.... (More variety at ACE or True Value on the 'loose wire' angle).

Best wishes, hope you find what you need, 86

Not sure, Bill... But I can get it in around 20 different stores within 5 miles of me, I know that much, hahaha... I got 8AWG for the sub.... it's VERY nice to not have ANY clipping, etc., too... I wired everything with connectors and heat shrink at the AMP/and from the Aux Fuse Block, it was 8AWG heavy insul. too...(obviously different type, haha)...

You looking to get some?

Not right now, Mark, but that company makes some real good cables for audio systems. Being from the west coast, I thought you may have hear of them.....

Cool on the Alt. and DAILY DRIVABLE FACTOR! Congratz!

Far as the Amp.... Just in case you might have missed it.... Got the remote wire hooked up? No Remote wire on most amps? >>> NO WORKY! If that's not it... Hmmm, built in fuse? Setting on the Stereo for "SUB 1 or 2" switched to "OFF"?
