You're making some good progress. I like the black wheels you got. Nice work on the workbench, that something I really need to do!

thanks ed, they're just faux beadlocks but they're really light. I try to re-purpose as many of the pallets as i can since they'll just end up in the dump.

That sucks you didn't get your U bolts, did they give you both top plates for your flip kit, I can't tell if you have one or two stacked on top of each other in the pic. Hope they make it right, I hate not getting all the parts at once!

Then:
i asked a guy with a scrap yard for a nv3500 trans, tcase, clutch, lines, shafts, master and slave. said okay 600 bucks. deal. weeks later calls, ya i got that all pulled got the torque convertor and everything.... so. that didnt happen.

Now:
another guy has, with picture evidence what i need. for $500, i do the work and take what i want. we will see how this plays out. wish me luck.
edit.
What really happened..:
my cousin was looking for a vortec for his wifes truck. so i traded him mine for a TBI, and now ill be putting that in this truck. it has a 5 speed and tcase. but tranny needs work. (or at least i know which code i need if i replace it)

i got the tbi in my truck, got an nv3500 trans, still need an np241 pass side drop tcase(not np241c, which is drivers drop) but, another step in the right direction. wooh!
and we made some fun things for ˟˟˟˟s and giggles while the truck is sitting in the shop. (before this truck ever sees pavement ill have to swap the exhaust again. but ill leave that for then.)
