Here are the finished bumpers, I'm happy with how both of them turned out.

Painting the truck made the biggest difference in appearance, it looks like a completely different truck now.

Masking everything off was very time consuming also, even though actually painting the truck only took 2 days.

The truck after paint. It came out really good!

Talk about a clean truck! Looks good, did you rattle can that paint job? If so, YOU ARE HIRED! I can ship mine to you next week!

PS If you ever decide to change your interior, I'll take it!

Woah. That is one nice buildup. Mine is a long way from where yours is. I love the seats. Benches are nice, but it is nice being able to slide only one side forward. Are you finished with this build?

That truck is killing it. So sweet. Is the pro comp lift bolt on? Did you have to do anything to the steering?

We're both in the needs-new-gray-door-panels club.

The paint is PPG Omni AE, a two part catalyzed enamel, which is their budget paint line - took right at a gallon for the whole truck. Chose a non-metallic so it would be easier. We shot it with a pretty cheap older Craftsman spray gun and our home air compressor with good water separator/filter in the driveway. Hosed down the whole area and luckily got a calm day. (I'm the Dad) I've painted a car or two, but not all that much in the way of experience with painting. Up close it's got a little orange peel here and there, but figured that was better than putting a big run in it. Bumpers are painted with the same paint but gloss black. I've had lots of trouble with any rattle can paint going dull after a year or so, mainly on bumpers.

Steering is still stock including a crushed stabilizer, hoping to put a hi-steer on it for safety one of these months.
