Got the radiator hoop done and the radiator mounted yesterday. I started off thinking a squared off hoop would be cool and then changed my mind after I'd seen it. It's in the scrap pile now. LOL

The second radiator is for the air to water intercooler.

It's a pretty tight fit!

Ready for an update? Got the engine and ecm wired.

Its kinda runs if I keep it running. It needs lots of tuning and I'm slowly learning.

Took the truck to my buddy's shop (Wahoo Fab Longview, Wa.) on fathers day and he helped me get the front clip roughed in.

that thing looks freaking mean! I like it =) I want to put an exo cage on my runner..but am afraid it will make it too top heavy.thinking about removing the camper to offset weight and just use a cloth for the rear that clips onto the cage. nice looking crawler!

Thanks man! If I had it all over to do again I'd gone with internal cage. Shedding the tailgate and the top cut down on my weight a lot.

Update!!! Got it done enough to go wheeling! Couldn't get it tuned (money and everyone was way far out on dyno time.) So I put my big boy drawers on and spent a day turning it my self around my property. Just did it as safe I could. Really rich and a very conservative timing map. Spent so much time trying to get the boost control to work but was running out of time so I just put it back to the stock wastage spring (9lbs). Had a grate day! No brakeage! Truck ran good for the tuen it had. It was super hot and it didn't over heat or leak anything. Man 2rz on 9lbs is so much fun. Running the roads in Low/high with 4.10s 39.5 on recentered h1s (guess would be 150lb each) I could go into boost and hang the rear end around corners in any gear! Got lots of videos but my 12 year old was shooting them with lots of little kid chatter in them. Lol
This video is the airplane hill filter.

If you know me can opener is my nemesis trail! This is the fourth time I've attempted it and gotten denied.

So in my rush to slap it together I made these cheesy wires. They worked but every time I wanted to check/change plugs they would come apart and it was just a pain is the rear.

The issue i was having is that I have a 2rz that's fired off LS2 (corvette) coil packs. So after calling around MSD told me they sell just the LS2 ends, so I bought the nicest wire set I could find for and 2rz then cut them down and made my own.

So been wheeling a few times. Someone shot this video and I'm not sure who. Lol this was Elbe, my 1st time there. Kinda cool, wish I could have seen more but a buddy's truck broke down so we left early.

Look in the for sale area for my built Toyota axles and my recentered h1s and 39.5s

It is. If the axles, tires, and wheels sell then I'm going to recenter another set of H1s and buy 47s LTBs to go on them. Lol

PS no one tell the wifey how much all this is going to cost. This is definitely going to be a ask for forgiveness project cus she would definitely say no if she knew what it was all going to cost.

So sad day, sold the Dana 60 front. Picked up a Dana 60 rear for free. So Dana 60 center Toyota outers is the plan now. Going to put 6 lug hubs on the 14 bolt rear and I'll match the front when I build it to 64.5" wms to wms. Stay tuned for updates.

So small update. Got parts for the 6 lug 14 bolt full floater that's going under my pyle soon. Just waiting on the parts to mount it under the truck. Had to Machine the inside diameter of the rotor out of 4.3 inch, then had to machine about a quarter inch off the axle flange so the six lug wheel would fit over the axle flange so every time I want to take the wheels off I don't have to pull an axle. Even had to switch to the alan head bolts and grind a bit off them. Enough typing here's a picture

When to Browns camp yesterday. Good time. Went with some rookies so we only ended up doing a 1/2 day, but that was good cus heading back to the trailer I discovered the rear axle was done. Feels like it's missing some teeth. So now I really got to finsh up the 14 bolt. Anyways here's some videos.
Like the fire ball at the end?
