Now I know though...I can get into your build. If I were a single young man...I would make use of this truck to ruin the reputations of women in every town I traveled to...lol.

"Hey baby...want to play back to the future tonight?"
Hard time? Hell no!!! Totally hear you man. And right, that is true! This will definitely be a good magnet if you catch my drift! But, alas, I am in the same boat as you lol……guess we will have to stick with showing it off at Comic Cons!

Not unless I find A/C for my truck! I would bake in it during the summer if it were black!

Happy to say that Marty's truck is an original a/c equipped example! I guess being from So Cal you would need it.

I would have never chosen the Chrysler tangerine color for my 4runner either...but for some reason everyone loves it.
She was black originally.

Try driving through the desert.

A waterbottle with built in fan works, sometimes.

5-6 hours of HOT air was not the business. Getting this thing to 80 probably burnt me up even more.

Swwwwweeeeet! What size of tire did you use on those Goodyear wrangler radials? All I can find are 235/75/15...I'm doing the same restoration on mine.

Thanks! Unfortunately, the original Goodyear Wrangler Radial has been out of production for years in all sizes except for 235/75/15. We searched high and low for a low mileage or new old stock tire in the correct 31.0 x 10.5 x 15 to no avail. My son, who worked for a tire distributor, called everywhere around the country with no luck.We even contacted Goodyear! We asked about the availability and they had none so we asked if a special set could be produced with the correct lettering. Not gonna happen (( So we decided to go with the correct sized Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor tire which has a very similar tread pattern. The outline white letter script says "Goodyear Wrangler", but not "Goodyear Wrangler Radial" as the originals did. This is one of the very few concessions we had to make during the restoration. Hope that helps! Best of luck with yours.

I was in the same boat. 235,s are the largest. Theyre about 29" which is close enough. I was even contacted by someone at a university about goodyear tire sizes and that they did not make a 31 in its history.
I gotta dig up that message.
Hm.

Some guy was mumbling at the show saying that my tires are too small and this is not accurate and that.
Blah blah

Interesting! They definitely did make a 31 as we both know. Next time someone starts picking apart your vehicle at a show, ask them to show you theirs….usually shuts them up pretty quickly lol!

Yeah. I was having a conversation with someone who was appreciating everything I done to it. We were also talking about tires.

I ignored him. Everyone's reaction and faces from the show put me in such a mood. It was great. In the end, it was my build. Not his.

Will you be partaking in Toyota fest 2015 in long beach CA next year? We can be twins.

You'll be the older one of course
