Finally starting the rebuild on my 85 22r. After 240xxx miles it finally decided to give way. The lower coolant hose blew causing it to overheat and warp the head.

The head is currently in the machine shop gettin flattened out as well as bigger valves and rv spring kit from engnbldr are being installed. Going to order some high compression Keith Black pistons, the street performer cam from LC, as well as the dual timing chain kit from them.

 

What's your truck setup?

 

Pretty much stock. has stock gears with 31s, 3in lift, and a mini spool in the rear. I plan on gettin a bigger lift with hy steer, 35in tires and 5.29 gears. also i plan on bobbing the box after i take the besides off and run tubing with an exo cage.
