Just the Cam Gear. I wish I got a LCE Head with the deal. And I know I need to get on building a swingout bumper!!

I should buy another red letter and just ratchet strap it to the hood.

haha!! bad idea unless u modify a celica strut tower so it dont cave in that thin japanese sheet metal!! Still thicker than most american cars these days, or plastic if its a saturn. Plenty of good info on here to fab up a rear bumper, just need some material, 16oz rockstars, and a good welder!!

HAHA. It probably wood cave my fenders in especially since they are already trimmed.

I have a welder and can weld pretty good. So you bring the rockstars and lets get welding on our rigs!!!

Chasing down the damn pass side leak. I have narrowed it down to one of the seams inside the channel under the wiper cowl. It sucks because there is no good way to in there to seal it up. I finally had to resort to spraying in some industrial 3m undercoating that I had, hoping that it does the trick. Until then, I have been rolling without carpet.

Some other good news, should have the new engine payed off in a few weeks so I can start that swap.

You are bringing the runner along ways from where it was. Great job. Taking the exocage off, I think helped with the looks as well. Looking forward to your build.

Thanks for the compliments Terry. The exo-cage just wasnt really me. Maybe if I lived with my parents in Moab, I would have kept cage and stinger. Or at least redesigned it.

Im trying to get a few things squared away now with the Front end, and a new heart for her.

I was thinking about painting the Runner OD green Like my old Ex-Cab and make the topper black. Or should I just keep it the original color. What do you guys think.

I like the gray but green is a color you dont see that often. Just having a nice straight body and a nice paint job, you cant really go wrong. Either way I think you are going to like it.

Hey Chris!!

The park is called River Valley OHV Park. I was on it a few times 4 years ago, then it got flooded out for 2 years. Was there again once when it opened back up. Not too bad. It would be a great place to take the little ones to learn how to ride when its not too crowded. Just wish there was a place like that to legally take our Yotas.

If you ever come out this way to go to the river park, call me and ill head down there with you.

Right on!! Yea i myself just have the ol honda big red 3wheeler, my freind who went up there was riding his 10' kx250f, another had a rmz250, a ol school 90s cr250, and a 2000sumthin kx250. Said they rode from like 10am til afternoon sometime.

Id like my son to go but dad gets nervous when theres alotta commotion goin on round the kids, he dont pay enough attention to his surroundings sometimes ya know??

So wassup with the runner??Im assuming no leaks still?? Decided on paintin it or not??

By the way we need a place to wheel bad not to mention a club for wheelin. We usually get in trouble around here by the local farmers, if your interested in going down the nemaha river well probalbly do that when it gets hot out. Lots of sand, dead driftwood on sandbars to climb, and of course a lil water. The only reason i sunk my 88 is cause i was cockin off jumpin sandbars at about 30mph and indo'd it vertically but luckily it didnt go on over or id a had to get my snorkel out of thr glove box. I personally dont like to much water cause its hell on bearings and electronics.

I love those pics chris!!! Every time I see the one of your truck almost under water, I picture you swimming under the water to hook the tow strap up. haha

Im thinking I might hold off on paint for right now. Not sure how it would look with the OD green up top and the Black Raptor Liner Below. I might just Go balls out and do it.

I hear you on the Little ones riding. I cant wait to get my twins some bikes next year. Its the only reason Im still hanging on to my 08 KTM 250Xc!!

Some Build Progress

Well I have been busy over the last few weeks and really didnt have the chance to work on my runner. My buddy And forum member (283yotacrawler) Picked up this reg cab 86 Yota with a SBC 350 for cheap.

Had a few ghetto rigged mods done to it that we are working through. Pulled the 350 to but in a built 283 he had. Heres a pic of that.

Then Today, I had some free time and the leftover metal from my Exo Cage was staring me down.......So I decided to start cutting what was left of it up to make some Sliders.

Hopefully I will have some more time in the AM to make the center supports and legs to the frame. But the hardest part seems to be over with.

Next I will hopefully start building a rear bumper/tire carrier.

I think the raptor liner (rhino, herculiner, etc) looks bada$$...however...how hard is that stuff to remove if you have to do bodywork??That was the only downfall i could think of.

Yea after i sunk the 88 that day it earned its nickname "buoy" It ruined the rest of the day trying to get it out, took that orange toy, and a dodge 3/4 ton hooked in line. The guys i was with said that was probalbly the deepest spot in that area, lucky me!

BUT IT STARTED BACK UP 2HRS LATER!! everyone there that witnessed it said it was toast...jackholes just dont know
