Cruces NM 85 DLX Build

Well I'm starting a build tread for my 2nd toyota ever. It's my pride and joy. Working on making it trail and Toyota Legend Worth.

Got this truck bone stock.

1985 DLX 134k Miles, AC, Heater, ok interior, very little rust to no rust. Dead battery.

Total cost $2200. From Albuquerque, NM.

Sorry no just a spectator. The weekend before busted a knuckle and Power steering hose. Going to rebuild knuckles and convert to Hy-steer soon. Thanks for the view. Hope everyone likes the work so far.

You join the local 4 wheeler club? I just bought my 86 few months back and looking to shorten the bed too. Any advice on who, where, how much? I'm a born and raised Cruces local so looking for some locals to wheel with.

No clubs just wheel with buddies. They all have different rigs. Chevy, Jeep, Ford, Etc. I'm the only Toyota. Do you know how to weld? It's not that hard. Let me know when you want to wheel I'm down.

Well I'm not great. I took a class at the Branch to learn the basics. We go out wheeling when my wife lets me go. ha ha. Just whenever.

Right on, I actually thought of taking a class so I can start doing some of my own mods to my truck. Past couple of weeks I've been out to Upper Broad, Hopping Jalepeno, and tomorrow we are heading out to Box Canyon. I plan on exploring the Dona Ana trails next weekend. Let me know when you wanna go wheelin, or even wanna make some extra cash for helping with some mods. I will extremely appreciate it

Well mpwarfy the engine cost me about $835 with taxes. Had to return my core. But I had a extra one for that reason.

86YodaForce I'm down just call or text Ignacio
575- 312-290six. I'm currently working on my truck and a 86 restore 4runner. I also have lots of parts if need anything.

Thanks everyone for the views.
