Im planing to rebuild my pickup here in the next year and so. I want to have it for mild rock climbing, and a good for mudd. I want it to last along time but still have great paformance. Im going to be using the truck for camping, hunting, i dont want to do any thing to the bed. I want a 5" lift on it and i dont know about multi-link suspension but plz list all of your guys ideas and plans that you think i should consider doing to my truck.

 

hmm, chevy 63" leafs in the rear and put the rear leafs up front.
shackles maybe?

it's an 85' so it has the solid axle stock like mine correct?

 

Yeah its the solid front axle. I was thinking about 63" leafs because i have the chevy already but i was wondering about multi suspension or would the chevy leafs be really good more than just money wise. thankyou for replying.

O yeah i almost forgot there is somthing wrong with my trany. It goes into first and second then it skips drive and goes right into over drive. After it warms up for a few hrs of driving drive works and i have to keap clicking the over drive button. I was hoping if there might be some quik easy fix that i can try before i go and buy a $600 trany.
