Jeremy has a new set of rotors that we will use.
Custom order stainless brake lines.
Air pump is locked up so going to order another one from Napa.
Going to buy Spider Trax wheel spacers 1 1/2" to clear calipers with 2nd Gen SR5 wheels or FJ40 steel wheels with caps.
Tires will probably be BFG KO2 31x10.50x15
Thanks for the details, I'll keep an eye on how these things come together. I'm assuming that you are going with the later 2nd Gen calipers and rotors (6/91+, S13WB)? I'm still torn on that, and am actually leaning towards the earlier ones (S12W). I'm hoping that with those, I won't need to grind the calipers or to use spacers (which I in general dislike).
Also, are you considering the larger Tundra/FJ80 rear wheel cylinders? That is supposedly useful to maintain the original F/R braking balance after you upgrade the fronts.

Yeah, SpiderTrax have a very good reputation, at least on the 3rd Gen forum, and I'm assuming they'll be great for the 1st Gen as well. My only thought was that if you're getting the spacers only to clear the bigger S13WB calipers, maybe that would give the nod to S12W. But plenty of folks use spacers, so maybe it's no big deal.
I ordered a 2nd Gen booster from a truck with supposedly 121K on it, we'll see what shape it's in when I receive it.
Who did you order the Gin 2 booster from??? Used???

Yup, I got it on Ebay. A number of posts I read suggested that old OEM boosters may be more robust than rebuilt units, but we'll see. I just hope its not rusty, I don't feel like dealing with that.
Don't use the Trail Gear knuckle rebuild kit. The bearings are the right ID/OD/thickness but the roller angler is wrong and the bearings are cheap quality. Buy anything with bearings from Marlin Crawler. The Marlin kits come with Koyo (OEM) bearings and are much better quality.
Getting down to the wire on the truck and hope to have it on the street driving next week. Been a few months in total and lots of projects to complete.
The fuel tank was removed a few days ago and sent to the radiator shop to be boiled out, they said that the inside was a mess but no pin holes so thats a plus. Since they offered, decided it was a good idea to have the tank epoxy lined after it was cleaned out for added protection. Tank will be installed this weekend.
The problems continue however since the mechanic told me that the charcoal evap canister is clogged up and will not pass any air through it. I quick check online and I found that this is a common problem and even though I can find replacement canisters from Toyota on line, there are none available for purchase. Found an old thread on YotaTech of a guy who ended up taking his canister apart and cleaned the check valves and other parts to get his canister to perform........guess that's the direction I'm headed.
Ordered Hankook all terrain tires 31x10.5R15 that will arrive in a few days so that I can mount them next week on a set of 90 SR5 wheels that I bought. I already have the 1 1/2" spider Trax spacers for the brake clearance as i have the later S13 calipers so all should be well,.
A few pics of progress and hope to be driving it soon.
Finally got my later model SR5 wheels mounted with new 31.10.5.15 tires.
Smog pump was seized up so I took it apart today, cleaned it up inside, lubed the bearings, put it back together and it spins freely again. Will install this week and see if it will keep spinning on a running engine.
Finally, after owning this runner for a few years, it runs and drives, it smogged today, and I have it back home. It has been a long journey and thousands in parts and labor but it was worth it.

sorry i couldn't help on the brakes. i'm running stock setups on both of mine, haven't investigated changing to the later v6 version. my brakes work really well as-is, even when i throw on the 33s.
This week I have been working on wire repair due to rodents, mostly in the engine compartment and the passenger side front fender well. Looks like I got repaired what I needed because I did a check of all the exterior lights and signals and was pleased everything works as it should. All electric windows go up and down and the heater blower works.
Today I removed the wiper cowl and did vacuum of that area and removal of leaves and walnut shells......I was really happy that there are no signs of rust and it just needs a good power wash left. I removed the front grill and broke some of the old grill clips which I ordered on Amazon. Replaced the front headlights so now both of those work, both high beam and low beam. After cleaning up the front radiator support and front grill I re-installed the grill and was really happy with the results.
Next few days I will re-install some wire looms and remove the radio power antenna so that I can get that repaired on the work bench. Clean up of the cowl area and re-install the cowl.

Pulled out the blower box and AC box from under the dash and cleaned out the twigs, leaves, and walnuts from the blower box that would rattle around when the fan was turned on. All nice and quiet now and clean air comes out of the vents instead of a cloud of dust.
