Damnit! Corey gets all the good stuff just because he can make some fancy fiberglass stuff. It's because he's Canadian isn't it?!? If you send it to me, I'll make everybody some really good paper mache bumpers... just don't drive in the rain with them! LOL

It's all good, Corey should definitely have it for the betterment of everybody. I'll be fabricating a relatively mild stock-looking bumper to hold me over until I get something else. But it should be noted that I did ask first! haha!

so the deal on the 87 4runner looks like a go, so we will have a frame and wheels and t-case and rear axle for the build. relatively good start. i thought it was sas but we'll just have to make due with the ifs for now.

so ben traded some 240 struts for this 82/83 from some kid and piddled around with some wiring then took it to the woods lol i took a video but the phone died and i was left with this cover picture and one selfie lol but anyways, it was a good day, (not so pro's) theres no brakes other than the front passenger locks up nicely lol. the leafs are all shot the shocks are rusted through the cab mounts are blown apart the tailights are nailed to a janky 2x6 flatdeck the interior is mangled full of screw holes in the dash and the wood panel around the tape deck was ripped in half and jammed into place. (nailed it) open diffs, rough, unbalanced front drive shaft. shiddy starter
drivers door is barely attached and sooooo bent

pro's!!! (the short list)
IT STARTED!!! thats 2 of 5 of our yota's that move.
the 4x4 works, its rough, needs new diff oil. / everything.
frame is okay, (it never got cut in half so thats a start)
has the sr5 oil / temp gauges
clutch is good
shifts well
has the sweet grill
... thats about it.

so we have the blue cab with intact interior and dash and ben has a motor him and his dad had planned to put together but never got the chance too and has had a 1uz sitting on a tire in his carport since the winter.
anyways time for work

it was a fun first rip

He did some more since these pics, and we got a driver door for it, he worked out some kinks in the drivers fender and sanded it down to bare and primer'd it. (going for tan like robs trekker)
