yeah thats gonna be on my list this weekend, my beds gonna come off for sure, the frame rails r full of mud! but the frame was soild, ill prob do a fuel filter, plus, plug wires, cap rotor, air filter, oil change, an oil filt and i already flushed the rad and it was clean, then ill do valve lash and inspect my TC and then its onto wireing for sure, i did find a spot of rust in the floor underneath the driver seat about the size of a baseball, prob cut it out aand weld it in place since its not a pressure point in the cab that will be steped on or have very much weight applied. unless its a load bearing part of the cab somehow anybody know?

Heyyyyyyy! lol....

Sweet, ....I miss my 83! >>>>>>>>

Keep at it, man! I admire you taking this project on LOVE those years... My Fav Pick ups of all, 82-83(I know, most like the round headlights... For some reason I liked these better/the grill and lights, etc., plus still had the curled bed, yadda yadda.... just different headlights and couple other lil things.)

haha thanks chef yeah its gonna be heck of a project, i did like the rounde headlights but something caught me on this one! i just got done pulling the lights and the grille and emblems off, i hate to say it but im going to sand it downm and rattlecan it just to prevent the rust from getting any worse, (well besides the bed, its toast) then this summer ill have it professonally painted at my friends body shop, probally go with the same grey and have jeames dean do the grpics again, or i might leave them off, also found alot of my interior at my local yhard that im picking up payday, then doing a full tune up on it, also my clutch is awful noisy in this thing, im not sure if its something bad in the clutch, it engauges fine and has plenty of grab just noisy, any info guys? ill post pics of ti being sanded down this evening for sure!

The noise could be the throw-out bearing..... Could be a trans bearing..... Could also be a totally worn out clutch disc.... Either way, hopefully you can get the flywheel done(if it's not ground down beyond limits already).

Does the noise go away when you push in the clutch? Or opposite?(when it's driving). How EXACTLY does it happen/sound?

X2, ... I thought this was already posted, but in case I thought wrong, lol... YEP! Even though my trans 4th gear syncro is toast.... it still helps to have tight shifting/no slop with that kit... and it came in 2 days from the 'BUY' click! lol.

yeah prob, i think im just gonna take it up to the local trans shop and let them service the trans, fix the slip and service the diffs, i know i know itss easy to doo but between work and school i dont have time and ive got some extra cash laying around, and mark that things awesome! i wanna build mine up but not to that extremem. i was thinking 22s or 35s with a mild lift, tube bumpers and sliders, not that i use them just they look cool, maybe the occasional rock or mud pit or 2 haha! but well see, right now got the front clip sanded and started to prime it, ill get pics up tommorow, it got dark!
