Hey guys, Names is Thomas I am picking up my first 4x4 on monday its a 79 Pickup with a flat bed, 63in springs in the rear, 93 4runner rear end, wagoneer front springs, marlin cross over steering, yukon 4.88 gears, detroit locker front and rear, trail gear 4.7 t case kit, 20r with weisco pistons and a jessel cam and weber carb. im stoked to get the truck and have fun.

so far the only plans i have for it are
fix all the little things
new tires
winch
and make some of my own rock sliders.

 

if anyone has some home made rock sliders could i get some pics id like to get an idea of what i can make. Ill be making them in my tig welding class this term at school.

 

seen this on craigslist i think the ad said somethin like a 20r motor wont ever be able to blow lol but cool your in portland thats sweet some more ppl up here is always a good thing and look up rocksliders on search theres a crap ton on here

 

idk lol hes kinda a buddy of mine and I will, so far the truck is awesome not the prettiest but whatever its a truck. Yes I am trying to get back my old wheeling party but only 2 of them have trucks and I havent talked to them guys in a while. But soon as I can safely imma be out wheeling. lol

long story short this truck was a junker, traded it for a bronco and im stuck with that ( to get to and from school and try and get a job ) till i get my taxes then imma try and trade or sell the bronco and buy a decent toyota. even if it isnt sfa I just want a toyota for the decent mpg and the awesome offroad capabilities. I am in milwaukie

lol your not far from me i am like 1/4 mile from 82nd fred meyers lol. I am trying to trade my bronco for a toyota. just put it on cl. I really hope I can trade it cuz the gas on the bronco kinda sucks and I just want a yota. I love em.

well atm my 240sx is down and out so i could only trade my bronco off unless you wanna hold on to it till i get my car fixed which would be a while ( gotta get my tax money ) to get a new tranny / clutch and slave cylinder for my car. lol Then i gotta sell the bronco.

but do you have pics of it you can send them in a pm if you want. id like to see it and if you have it when i have money then maybe id take it.
