I would like to start building my 83 pickup. First project that i would like to work on is gearing. I need to replace the transfer case, transmission, and then also differentials. I dont know what to get. My ultimate goal is to have a truck that can go 55 on the highway and improve crawling ability from stock.

 

Start with tuning up the engine, brakes, then suspension!

But most of all....

Thanks, however right now the differentials are seized and most like the transfer case is busted. Im currently trying to build the drive train. Ultimate goal is to do a diesel conversion
