Winch back together...gotta put new cables to the box, get some new locking nuts, and wind up the rope. Then it'll be back to new.

I may have gotten the wrong rope though 😤 It doesn't appear to have an attachment point for the drum, just a loop. Looks like it's supposed to feed through the drum. Just first glance...maybe I'm wrong-hopefully. Gonna have to look at that over the weekend. Got my new hubs in the mail today. They look pretty sharp. Gonna be a full couple of days work ahead...all little projects but nonetheless time consuming.

Good news, I am selling the 81' Hilux. I plan to sell with ALL original parts included in the deal. Additionally, I will be throwing in a the winch and brush guard which I haven't had time to install. She is running like a top and gets compliments everywhere I drive.

I will post it up on the classified section this coming week and on eBay. I have a little about 22K into it but think 18K is probably a solid asking price. Ill let you know when its listed.

And for what its worth, if anyone is interested...I will be selling my 4runner mid January. Its a White 2009, Limited (grey leather/sunroof), JBL system(upgraded Kenwood navigation bluetooth DVD receiver), V6 4x4 with 175,000 miles. Viper alarm, Optima Batt, husky liners(front/rear, and cargo), 1 inch wheel spacers, tinted windows. Runs great, looks immaculate, no issues at all. Thinking of asking 13.5K for it.
