I still need to post up pictures of the carb, and my first two trips off road. I just havent had time. I do need some advice though. I worked mids last night for a 12 hour shift in the rain. It was the first somewhat cool night we have had this year. I was soaked and looking forward to getting in my truck and turning the heat on. Well that was a no go. On defrost it will blow luke warm air. You swith it to heat it blows nothing, switch to Bi level or vent and it will blast you with cold air. I have no idea about the heating system on these old trucks. Can anybody help me with this? Thanks in advance.

Thanks. I need to get back to working on it. I havent had a chance to do to much here lately. Got some big plans coming for the new year though. I picked up a second job just to fund my hobby as well as relearn all the fab work i have forgotten sinced I joined the military. So i will be interested to see how I do.

Yea i wouldnt have cut them, but it was already done when I got the truck. I cant wait to get started back on the truck. I havent done much to it in the past 5 months. Its all OD green now. My rear axle is tracking crooked by about 2 inches. I think it has to do with the way they put the lift on so that is something i have got to fix asap. I will put some pictures up this week sometime. If anybody has had this problem I could use a bit of advice. I already replaced the centerpins, but I know its got to be in the u bolt and spring perch area. Right??

sounds like you have a lot of cross measuring to do. maybe the rear end got knocked a little out of whack on a stump or something. worst case, could be a bent frame from a previous accident? by the way, knoxville rocks, great place to visit.

Finally got started back on the toy agian. I picked up or built all the parts and got my 63 chevy swap completed over the weekend. The swap wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. I however did find out why my axle was shifting so bad. The spring hanger was bent pretty bad. I found some frame rot that I am gonna have to patch as well. I also mounted some lights on the top of my fenders.

RUF Complete
So I have finally got my RUF swap complete. It ended up moving my tires and wheels up about 2.5 inches. I went ahead and trimmed the front fenders in preparation for my new wheels and tires. I ordered 5 TrailworthyFab Hummvee wheels and 5 37s to put on it. Ok enough here are some pics!
