Just getting into wheeing. What are the trails like up that way. You ever come down to windrock or royal blue. That where I always go on my atv and where I'm wanting to take the truck when I get some of the bugs worked out. I'm ordering a weber 32/36 in the morning. I hope that will eliminate my bug!

I would definately do a good cleaning of your gas tank and fuel filter. It would probably be a lot cheaper than buy a new carb and that not be it!

plus it will be good for your truck to just get the fuel system cleaned out.

How do you clean the tank? Do you just flush it out by dropping the tank? What else can you do for it? Still gonna pick up the weber. The electric choke was done on mine plus being able to block off a bunch of the vacuum lines has got to help!

Thanks! He just takes good photos! LMAO! Its def got some flaws but that's most of the fun with these old trucks (or frustration) but either way I'm learning a lot as I do this and from all the knowledgable people on yotatech!
As far as it lookin familiar well I'm not sure lol that truck has been local for sometime and it was only primered for one day.

I got visited by santas helpers with an early gift today. My weber carb 32/36 came, only took two days from when I ordered it. I was very impressed by that. Thank you Xtreme22 for giving me that link in another thread. I get off work at 6 am so as soon as i get off i am going to be putting this on. I have only one question. What do you do with all the other vacuum lines you dont use? Since there wont be any vacuum do you just pull all of that junk out, or is it better to cap all of it?

How do they still have vacuum if they are not hooked into the carb? The ones that dont have vacuum just get rid of all of it?

im not to sure, but id say drain it, then try and find some sort of liquid you can pour in and it eats away or flushes away the nasty stuff.

I am installing my new weber carb, and I have a few questions. Here is the post I made for it. Any advice would be great.
