How long approx did it take to pull the whole truck apart?
I haven't even started taking it apart yet for a couple reasons. First one is because I'm waiting for some parts to show up so that this is the first and last time I take it this far apart. If I'm going to completely rebuild it from the frame, I'm going to build it to last and unique to me. Second reason is because I am waiting until I have a spot to take it apart and have the room to lay the entire truck out so I know what goes where and in what order. I would love to have it done but I know the more time I take on it the nicer it be.
Just picked up this ifs rear axle to put under it since the old axle will be out. Plus then I can take the wheel spacers off of the rear. The replacement frame also has everything cut off. Now I'm ready to start welding all the new mounts on. Have lots of new plans for the truck. Hopefully it turns out a lot better.
Was able to take some stuff off of the truck today. I still need to be able to move it around so i don't want to take too much off of it until I'm ready to start putting it together. I took the seats out, which I sold, so I will be getting a different pair when it goes back together just not sure what yet. Took the shocks out, the rear bumper and front bumper along with the winch, the sliders, the toolbox, and front grill. It's not a lot but it's something.
Also here are some pictures of the power steering pump I put in it before I found the crack in my frame. I realized that I never posted any pictures of it.

Love this build, very similar to what I have planned for my '82. Also, I have the exact same seats going into mine to replace the worn out Mk.II seats. from a late 90s prelude. Excellent seats, lightweight, sturdy and comfortable.
Got a spare tire carrier that will be going in the truck. It's a custom built one that is low profile so you won't see much of the tire sticking above the bed rail. It will just bolt in the bed. I got it so that I don't have to worry about it bouncing around in the bed or out of it.
Started cleaning up the ifs axle that will be going under the truck. Here's a before and after picture. Hoping to get everything welded on it and painted tomorrow.
Got the diff armor welded on the rear axle and it's first coat of paint. Still have to weld the shock tabs on so I have two spots of bare metal in the general area of where they will go. Waiting til it can go under the truck to weld them on and finish painting it. I think it looks good and should hold up a lot longer since I'm not using a rattle can to paint it.
Looks good! I would recommend the POR-15 Chassis Coat for the top coat. I used it on my frame and axles and it has a very nice satin sheen to it. Just make sure you scuff the POR-15 base coat really well first so you don't have adhesion issues. It also doesn't flow flat as well at the base coat does so if you are brushing it on you will see your brush strokes in the finished product. When I did mine I brushed on the first coat in a rather heavy coat to make sure that I hit everything really well. Then I went back and sprayed two more coats with a gravity gun to make sure it has a nice even and smooth look. DO NOT use a nice gun to spray this stuff - it will destroy the gun and render it useless afterwards. I went out and just bought a cheap $15 detail gun from Harbor Freight to do the job and just threw it away when I was done.

Thanks for the info, might have to go buy a cheap detail gun to finish everything off when I get to that stage.
