Picked up a 1985 Caprice classic, 4 door for under 1000. Runs great, got a 305 V8, 700R4 tranny, very plush. like driving a couch. Currently not prettiest to look at but more work will come down the road. Ill post pics whenever i get a chance to next week.

That is an awesome Suburban, I went to some NHRA drags over the weekend and they had a few Burbs parked in the special interest section.
I used to own a few nice GM cars before I got into trucks, my first car was a 1967 Impala with a 327 and TH400, then I bought a 1963 Nova SS all original with 63k on it, still had the original jacking instructions on the trunk with the bias ply spare.
I would love to have another but there is only enough room for one toy at this point and right now it is the Pickup.
