haha yeah. stealth bomber sounds fast, and this car may be quick compared to the 4Runner, but anything else on the road... nope! it needs heads and cam. possibly gears and a 5 speed.

That looks awesome. Good job!

That's funny about the Batmobile comment. My brother used to have a Trans-Am WS-6 that was all black, dark tint windows, etc. His license plate read BATMBLE

Yeah, batmobile, .... BUT, Stealth Bomber is closer.... YET, .... MAD MAX should be it's name, no? hahaha.

Coming along quick, Michael.... Nice work on all the prep!

I think it looks like the GTO from the movie The Punisher

Yeah the prep was the longest. I dont know how people do it, my hands still feel tingly. In perspective, You know how the state fair has those vibrating foot massagers? I feel like I was on one of those for wayyy too long and the feeling is stuck in my hands.

I spent about 7 1/2 hours sanding and learned a lot about the car at that point. Theres NO bondo on this car what so ever. 100% steel. The original car is Dark moss green. The Fenders, and passenger door are original. The Driver door is a lime green color ( unfortunately i dont have my original window tag, but there's a company that runs the vin and can send you a remade one for $200 bucks ) The trunk lid is not original ( calapyso blue ) and the front and rear valance are reproductions as well. The driver door does have a small pinsize rust holes that I sanded down and filled, but thats the only rust I found.

My passenger mirror is also a FOMOCO mirror! ( kind of an uncommon option on classics ) But yeah. I also cut the tail pipes off because they were ugly. As far as exhaust goes, I'll be doing Quick time performance exhaust cut outs, a magnaflow X pipe, Spintech 6000 pro streets, and a tail pipe that dumps right inbetween the gas tank and leaf springs on both sides. Should sound pretty good. But for now, I need to focus on the shock tower being fixed. then I can do suspension exhaust and put the hood on.

I had to bypass my heater core yesterday due to it leaking on the interior side of the firewall. Kinda lame because it ruined my brand new old chico sierra nevada sweatshirt I literally had just bought :/ Oh well. Super easy to do, simply connect the water pump and the intake manifold and call it good! everything works great and no leaks anymore.

I installed some of my goodyear hi miler hoses. I need a passenger/passenger inlet/outlet radaitor to use my lower hose. I plan on upgrading it eventually anyway. so we'll see.

Im gonna keep the chrome trim when the car gets painted dark green. The black wheels will add a nice touch either way.

Yeah my mufflers and X pipe shipped out already. I love summitracing!

Summit racing has by far the best shipping system to northern california. Especially if your in the rocklin/roseville/granite bay area. They ship just out of sparks, nevada. No matter how big the order, you can pretty much expect it next day if you order it on a weekday. ( small stuff ships on saturday sometimes, but not always )

Sweet can't wait to hear it!

I'm confusing your 4-Runner thread with this one now. I just checked in here and was confused looking for the post about the heap you found at Hayes... Must be getting old...
