I understand.....it was fun last weekend when we were rolling it off of the top of me! If I want speed I go for the FJR....my Grizzly climbs like a mountain goat!

idk peow...i got the privilege to ride an arctic-cat Thundercat 1000 4x4, that thing is a COMPLETE MONSTER.....INSANE amount of power....definitely the most powerful and FUNNEST quad i've EVER ridden!!!

got to ride a older 450 sport quad that had been bored out and stroked and had allllll kinds of motor mods done to it...and that thing would SCREAM...but it was NOTHING compared to the Thundercat....

The thundercat has a 1000, though..
Totally different beasts.
Plus with the 4x4 quad, when you get stuck.. YOU STAY STUCK..
They're so heavy...
I love my 400, with some adrenaline rushing through me i can lift the back end of the quad about 4 feet off the ground..

on the pads topic, o boy if i am doing more then a ride up and down the block i have my helmet and ridding boots on, even if i KNOW i am not going to crash!, my helmet has taken some hard hits of the years.if you(people who don't wear a helmet, but no one person in particular)dont think your going to need your helmet you may be right, but it only takes one or two if your lucky(un lucky?) crashes to ruen your face or your life....

OKAY with that said, i will get some pics up when i get home.. i have some good action shot of the o'l quad bike, but none of me on the dirtbike...
06 yfz450:cam mod/pro design intake/ AC pro peg nerfs/ houser stem/ 35lb diet....

its hard to find gloves that fit well when your hands are the size of garden rakes....

Lol why buy a 450 when you can get a 2 stroke 250 that puts out the SAME horsepower on a stock level, and is significantly less money, maintenence, and weight, lol.

its how a 4stroke rides, power comes in early and smooth(on my sx) no need to down shift
before jumps or hills, you i can ride all day long on 1 tank of gas instead of 4... yeah two strokes are cheaper, they have less moving parts so less issues..i had a 2000 cr250, clean bike, piped, piston, ran great.. but it was nothing compared to my 450.
anyway we could argue all day over why i think a 4stroke is better and why you think a 2stroke is better, its just a preference and all of ours will be different.
