im guessing FJ80 rims, so those would be the 16X8 teeque. i bought 2 sets from qaparts.com. one set was in OK condition which my friend bought off me & refinished and the other set was very usable..the ones im riding now. both sets came with centercaps. i payed USD $375 shipped. you may or may not get a nicely finished set, but for 375 shipped...its not a big hit and you could easily refinish em back to bling status.

make sure you tell them that caps MUST be included, and also have them check the lug nut seats to make sure they're all the same. i got a mismatched set (some were bevelled, some were flat) but my oem lugs from my split 3 spokers fit both applications fine...

of course ih8mud is also a good source for 80 wheels...

Okay I just ran into a complete set from the same vehicle here in San Diego. Only bad things are that there are only enough lugs for 2 wheels and only 2 center caps. The rims are in great shape but the 2 center caps will need to be repainted which is not a big deal. I had to repaint mine and they turned out really well.

Let me know if you want more info on these.

You may also want to look into these. These are not mine. I just saw them on ebay and thought I would forward it to you to help out.

It looks like a great set that includes center caps. $80 for shipping is not too bad either!

Wow I haven't checked this thread in a while...sorry guys.

I am looking for the 16x8 variant. Currently trying to decide betweem the popular pro-comp 1069's and these.

The ones on eBay are great looking, but I don't know if I like them to have the line on each spokes, aren't there ones without them too? What do you guys think as far as looks wise.

ecchamberlin...appreciate the effort on these. How much do the ones you found locally run?

I can easily get the 1069's for $400 and shipping new (which is like the ebay link above) and I really don't wanna spend much more for these since I do have an alternative.

d0ubledown...I will definately keep your advice in mind, but I will be keeping my lugnuts so that won't be a problem.

I guess I'll post on ih8mud as well...it would be new territory for me, any advice/warnings?

Thanks for ALL the help, keep it coming. I am trying to help out someone by selling my current rims and time is of the essence for them. Thx!

These on ebay are from a Lexus LX450(same as a LC) If I found these when I was looking for mine I would have gottent he LX450's in a heart beat. I just think they look better.

Rims I found would be $400 + shipping unless you came down to get them. So not a great deal considering you have another New alt for the same price.
I wanted LC or LX rims because they look more factory and draw less attention. That is just the style I like. If that didn't matter to me I am sure I could have found new after market rims cheaper.

I love those rims too, they look awesome! I just thought there was two variants...one with the gray line in the spokes and one without. And I assume the difference in looks is pretty great, but I might be imagining that.

yup there are two flavours. the blank ones are cruisers, and the slit style ones are from the lexus version of the cruiser. subtle difference. i love the oem look of it too...its always cool to raid the 80's parts bin...

Which one do all of you prefer? I have seen pix of both, LX and LC, just wanna get opinions. I know I am hi-jacking my own thread, but I don't wanna start a whole new one for this .

I personally think the Lexus wheels look the best. But it's a personal preferance.

I would definitely check out a company called Colorado Wheel Company. They have a website, Google em. They also have an Ebay store, they have fairly good prices and they have great customer service.

I got mine for $105 a piece and they were in great shape.

Good luck man, let us know what you decide.

I looked in their website Fink, but I couldn't find that particular wheel (LC or LX for that matter). Can you direct me through the menus as to where to go? Thanks.

Easiest way to do it is to call them directly, their number is (800) 696-1839. They're open from 8am to 5pm MST.

Hopefully they can help you, you can also email them but I promise calling is easier.

Good luck man,

Fink
