Want a 1996-Newer 3rd Gen 4Runner SR5

I want a 1996 or newer 4Runner SR5.

It should have decent miles (less than 150k) But just because it has more don't not email me, I could still be interested.
3.4l V6
4WD
Transmission doesn't matter, I am potentially interested in both.
E-Locker isn't important, but I wouldn't turn it away, its just something that probably goes out of my price range.

I live in as far north and west as you can get in Oregon, I am willing to travel a little.

Whether it's fitted with a locker or not it doesn't affect price but it's an option alot of off roaders look for when buying a Runner.

find one with the Locker, you wont regret it, that is IF, you plan on wheeling it.

I am looking to get $9k obo....i wanted to keep this truck, but it has been sitting in the lot for 6 months, I just drove it around the lot to warm it up. I do not see the point of keeping it anymore since I do not drive it.

good luck man, 3rd gens at that price are few and far between, they have sold at wholesale auction for upwards of 8k recently. retailing near 10k for a 1996 with 135k or so (limited 4x4 leather ect..). crazy. but im sure everyone here will keep an eye out for you.

Alright, finally got one.

$6000 flat
1996 Dark Green SR5
156000 miles
Rear heat
CD Player
Sunroof
wood Dash
he said everything the limited had but leather.....Can't say how accurate that is, but I wasn't looking for anything fancy.

Sounds familiar, except I have leather and the standard dash. Hope you got the locker, otherwise you will be kicking yourself once you start wheeling (I had to add one post hoc). And before you ask, it takes a good deal of time and $$ to do it, especially if you swap the entire rear axle like I did (and front because of the ratio).

Regardless, welcome to the club. If that thing was maintained well, it will last a long time.

Also, i don't need the locker, it doesn't have one, but i am not going to be getting into any heavy wheeling.

If i ever do i will just get a cheaper, but i highly doubt i will run into a time that i am in serious need of the locker, it would be nice to have though.

one question thoguh, i have a switch that says "ECT" in the middle, and then there is a little pwr and norm icon above and under showing then when its pressed its set to pwr and out is norm. What is the "ECT"
