Those are some high prices for some used parts, kind of remind me of stealer prices. Good luck selling them.

I like to see people on this forum help each other out. I have to agree the prices are very steep. Just barely under new cost or more.
Wiper Arm $35.00 +s&h Dealer $43.54
Tailgate $1375.00 Dealer $687.23
$1475 for a rear axle with over 160K miles?
Wow.......

Dealer sells the door shell only. Yes its only $687. Then the glass is $450, the regulator is $100, the motor is $300, the wiper motor is $300, plus trim, bolts, screws, etc etc. Price of a loaded gate, brand new, is WELL over $2500 PLUS PREP AND PAINT
Wiper arm: From the dealer does not include mounting hardware, screw cover, wiper blade, OR S&H.
$1475 for the rear axle. Price that NEW from the dealer for all the pieces with wiring harness and switch. I doubt it will be under $5000
But no one ever takes that into account. Look around, and tell me how many wrecking yards are left. Not many. So where you getting your parts from? All that high quality aftermarket junk? Ok. If thats your wish, so be it. We can crush the trucks and make more money than all the guff is worth.
I just figured I would help out some fellow YT'ers and let you know of the available parts. But if everyone is just going to gripe about pricing (most people on here do) we will just crush the truck and move on. There is easy $5k in parts going out in the crush load tomorrow, and sad part is its just worth more money to crush it than deal with all the people who say its too much money.
But hey, i dont care. All my 4Runners and My dodge run like tops.

We have decided to extend this truck by ONE DAY! We will have the main truck until 3pm PST. Many parts are being saved, so feel free to call with requests!
btw, ask to speak with Josh. I'll get you the special YT discount!

crush it then. you are comparing your prices to brand new parts. Should be comparing them to what they are... 12 year old parts with unknown care and 160,000 + miles.

You are comparing your prices to brand new from the dealer. You can usually just pick up at the dealer w/o s&h. These are not new parts. They are 12 years old with unknown care or maintenance and 160,00+ miles.
Ever think that maybe the customer is trying to tell you something?
oh wait...

The amount of care and maintinence is evidenced in many aspects of the vehicle. IE Records found in the truck, condition of the interior and engine, etc etc. Just because something has 160K on it does not mean it cannot be mint. What if those were all highway miles? most of the parts on this truck were in great shape.
BTW how do we compare our prices to used parts, if WE ARE THE USED PARTS?
The things like the internet have skewed peoples views of what wrecking yards are, and what pricing should be. We have to pay many things more than your average joe selling parts from his rolled over 4Runner. They have absolutly no overhead, whereas we do. And again I say, you ever wonder why there are no wrecking yards left? And quality used parts are so impossible to find? The only thing people like you are concerned about is price! No one cares about quality or service anymore.
Again, it doesn't worry me. Not everyone is a customer. You can have your opinion, we will have ours. We have been serving customers since 1947. i am merely posting up a truck for fellow YT'rs to have a chance at parts. If you do not want the parts, please move on but do not waste my and your time posting your opinion about our pricing.
