Need an air box for a 99 V6....yep, you guessed it...Cali smog did not like my deck plate mod....Also looking for a black steering wheel (no air bag needed, just the wheel...) and a pass side tail light lense.....Thanks for looking...

they wont even pass u with the deck plate on there, the guy i take mine to doesnt even look at the air box really

no problem, any time. I am trying to be a helpful newb.. like i said I have seen guys selling air box w/ intake tube for $50.00, also post a wanted ad on craigslist and i'm sure you will get many replies.

I did not test the mod per se, but, I have to agree with a lot of folks - I did pick up a little bit of power and I really like the sound. There were a couple of guys who dyno'ed this mod...about 8 RWHP more...I think Gadget has some of this info on his site.

Mike - I called a few of the guys in Craiglist and went to see one (against my better judgement...) over in Rancho....Dude told me he had three parts that I needed. When I got down there he decided that he did not have any of them but would sell me a new air box. When I called bait and switch he took me out to a wrecked 4runner and said he would sell me it's air box. (The top pc was missing though..) He then quoted me a price $10 less than the new one he had. (Well over $100...) I told him to next time at least buy me lunch before he fornicated me....I am still looking for a box. Please do not ever use the shop at 3636 Omec Circle in Rancho - rip off...

Anybody want to loan me one for a couple of days so that I can pass smog?

Did you find any private sellers? I think the tacoma may have the same box, not sure though. I just saw a guy on CL selling box and tube, because he got cold air intake.
