Lifted 2000 4Runner in WA
#21
It's just the fact that we have a more thorough understanding of this particular truck than the average buyer. Everyone here already knows that the previous owner was unable to get $6500 for the truck in this thread (which Deathcouger linked in his rebuild thread):
https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f108...runner-119664/
Then after doing an outstanding job bringing it back to it's former glory, we all know the truck was stolen from you.
You put a lot of hard work into the truck but it's hard for us to justify an additional $7500 of value added from a cleaned up interior.
You did such a nice job on it that ut's too bad you can't hold on to it and enjoy the fruits of your labor.

I suppose I am just a little jaded, working in an industry where everyone wants something for nothing.
I didn't really expect to sell it on YT anyways, but I posted with the hope that people would either make me offers, reply positively, or stay out of the thread.
Besides, I put more than just a "cleaned up interior" into it, but it doesn't really matter. I really would love to hold onto it, but I'm broke now and need to sell it. I changed the CL ad to $12,000 OBO, once I realized blue book had gone down. Still, with the money and time put into it, I think its worth somewhere near 10-12k.

OK, so i put the info back in, mainly becuase my deleting was a little brash.
HOWEVER
Unless you have questions to ask me spefically about the truck, or an offer to shoot me, please no longer post in this thread. I am trying to sell a truck fair and square, not argue about how much work i put into something, or that anyone thinks its too expensive.
I would MUCH rather sell the truck to a YT member, who will really take care of her.

The only price that should be listed now is 11k
Some a-holes keep flagging it, so thats why its getting "over posted" Its really only there once. I learned you have to out smart CL idiots, and post certain ways to trick them.

Roughly 1320 miles to CO, so....a lot? Lol
At this point, i am just needing to get rid of the truck. I am not even making any money on it, and Im not even sure if I broke even. The market dropped out from under the truck as soon as I bought it lol. Aint that always the way.

Bump again.
Cmon guys, someone must want this truck? I am starting to lost faith
A bunch of local punks want it, but I dont want to sell it to them since they are just going to destroy it.

Your whole idea was to turn the vehicle and make a profit, why not sell it and get rid of it. Longer you have it, the more it depreciates...

They turned out to be incredibly flakey....mommy and daddy were supposed to supply the cash.
I have it up for sale locally as well, but not many hits. I know its worth what I am asking now, especially since I have come down 4500 in price.
