L50 or L52

I need a L50 or L52 trans in working order to go behind my 22R in my 81 truck and replace the 4 speed. driveshafts as well if you have them. the closer to raleigh/wilson NC the better.

thanks

Either a G series from 84-88 or a w56 from 86-88 4cyl. I have all toyota pickup manual trannies in used or rebuilt. The 2nd gen trannies have better bearings, shift better and hold up to increased torque and horsepower better. I have a customer with a 302 H.O. bolted to a 85 G54 and beats the hell out of it. But it does take more work to install in your old 81 but end result is great. Expect to have drivelines made and fab in latter model crossmember but there are many threads in YT on how to put one in. Go to the site on my sig to contact.

If your 81 is stock height the front from a 84 or 85 will but the rear never does those years had alot of 2 piece shafts. Is that a long bed or short? Getting shafts made is no big deal if you dont have anyone close measure and have them made.
