Gotta love UPS.. I used to work in one of their warehouses when I was a teen. We'd spend the last hour of every shift repackaging damaged boxes and trying to find all the stuff that fell out of 'em.

i got to work installing them about 4 hours ago, got 4 of them mounted by 1 screw each under the truck (TERRIBLE time fitting the drill in places and avoiding a walking drill bit) and got some wires loosely run, im going to test the setup before i actually hide the wires to make sure they can be aimed correctly. i quit for the night though, its about 25 degrees out and i cant work like that anymore

Mine showed up today. Seem really nice and a white light despite bluish lenses. These two pair are slated for rock lights on my rig.

I am weak on auto electronics... but does anyone know wether one could run 2 pair of these lights through one 40 amp relay? If so, what amp fuse would handle the load?

Each lamp is 55w each, for those who may have missed it.

Aint you ever heard of a center punch? Heck a regular ponch and a hammer works..

Same question Mine are going on the roof and it would be cool if I could use one wire and one switch to power them

considering 4 55w lights at 12 volts is pulling ~18.3 amps or 20 amps, youd be good with a 25 amp fuse though i'd probably use a 30 since i have that lying around.

So, I got mine mounted today. I already had the switches setup since I knew one day I'd be putting on some rocklights.

Interior

Installed (driver side, a little dirty)

Light pattern (a little blurry)

Ended up using one of the 30amp relays each light came with. Used a 30amp fuse as well. Not too bad considering 4 lights for $25!!!

Thumbs up

FYI, I asked for a Hella sticker or two a few months ago and they were wayyy super nice!

BTW, I'm selling my remaining 2 or 3 sets of lights for $25 shipped (in the lower 48; $30 shipped to you cannucks )if anyone wants them. I posted it on my for sale post, but I really wanted to give you guys that didn't get them in this thread first dibs

I know the price isn't quite as low- I was gonna schmebay them, but thought I'd give you guys a chance first since I helped Cabela's in lowering their stock

I received my lights last night and althought the packages looked like they have been opened, everything was in the box.
