As the title says, I have a 5VZ I guess I'd like to sell. I picked this up from an old customer, his wife's 4Runner actually. I could not tell you mileage but less than 100K, his wife was hit in the rear by a drunk driver in Vegas (imagine that) and went off the road hitting a few other things, they bought it back as it was a total, and had me dismantle the truck and he sold off the trans, diffs, and I bought the motor. My plan was to install it in a 2 seater long travel sand car, but plans have changed. I would just like to get my money back out of the motor, I paid $500 bucks for it. The motor is complete from intake to oil pan, I started taking it apart with plans of a set of forged pistons but only the intake and plastic front covers are off it. I have the whole engine harness, pulleys, manifolds with crossover, flexplate, coil packs and all the engine sensors should be there. I can take some pics and e-mail them for those interested and I will ship it freight collect to anyone in the lower 48, which means you pays shipping once it gets to you and by pallet/truck you should figure about $100 to $150 depending were you are. Local pick-up as well if you want to come to me. Any questions post up or call me 775-513-7144 Rick

Thanks

If I remember correctly her 4Runner was a '99, but DON'T quote me on that. If you can tell me what to look for (on the motor itself) to figure it out I will be glad to try and find out for sure.

Thanks guys.

I tried calling you but...
you said that you cannot answer my call???? Dude, my cell # has an area code of 703 and the last four digits ends with a 9163.

You left your phone # above that is why I am calling you regarding a part of the 5vzfe engine that I need but you would not want to answer me.

Anyway, PM me if you can since I need the harmonic balancer also called the crank pulley damper.

LMK. Thanks.

Well for one I wouldn't have pulled off the balancer for you, not parting it out. Not to be a dick, but I cannot answer my phone at work most of the time, I am a CNC operator and my boss would be pretty pissed if I walked away from a million dollar machine and something bad happened and destroyed an expensive part or the CNC machine itself, to answer my phone. I did see your calls, but since you couldn't leave a voicemail, I had no idea who's number it was and didn't bother calling it back, I called back the guys that did leave messages.

Again guys, a local person is supposed to pick the motor up today, but if the deal falls through I will let everyone know.

Thanks,
Rick
