im selling my 97 tacoma and wanted to offer it on here before i do locally. it has 169,500miles. It has a 2.7 with the 5sp. the last owner had the clutch changed in august of 06. About 2 or 3 weeks ago i just put ngk plug wires and ngk platium plugs in it. The brake pads were changed not long before i bought it. The transfer case shifts fine and the 4x4 works good. The body has no rust and few scratchs in the paint and one chip on the drivers front fender about the bumper. On the outside visually the only thing wrong is the front valance and the little piece under the head light.

On the interior it is in good shape. The dash has no cracks. The door windows are tinted as well as the sliding back window. The lid on the center counsel is broke off but i still have the lid. It has a aiwa head unit but it wont play cds and it has 2 speakers in the doors. The drivers seat has one rip.

I bought this in april and changed teh oil every 5k miles with mobile one clean 5000. It has a interstate batterys battery that holds good power and even started it easy this week end when it was -5 at night.

The last owner put in a spray it bed liner but didnt do it right so some of it has peeled or chiped off. Right now it has a spare on the passenger front corner due to running over a nail and some time this week i will get that patched up. The front tires have ok trend and the back tires will need replacing soon but they arnt bad enough to worry about blowing out on the way home.

Suspension wise is in good shape except the leaf springs. One of the leaves on the drivers side are broke but offer then that they are just wore out and bending backwards. The frame is in good shape for being in the midwest. It still has a majority of the black paint on the frame. There is just a few spots where its chippin off and has a little bit of surface rust. Even the spare tire winch works still.

the only stuff wrong is the front valance, center counsle lid, drivers side leaf and it needs an exhaust manifold as it is starting to crack but the light is not on. It also has a rollbar that isnt very sturdy and has 2 lights on top. It is located in omaha, ne and im asking 5,500. I will post pix later tonight. Thanx for looking

It's just not fair!!! Every good rig is either 1000+ miles away from me, or several thousand dollars too expensive. Good luck on the sale, because you're gonna have one helluva time getting me to drive to Nebraska and back....

Seriously, good luck on the sale. That truck will make someone very happy someday. Too bad it probably won't be me.

 

is the 2.7 a 4 cylinder or 6?

the black speaker dont go with it. i have the center council in my closest. the hinge broke on one side. i bought some exhaust manifold stuff and used it to fill the crack.
