I am working on my 22rte project for a while and I was going to throw on a ct26 cuz Funds are low right now, Could a adapter plate be made to fit the ct26 off a supra, My ct20 I just dont trust to throw back on after the rebuild, What Turbo were you selling locally with this set up or what could you recomend if I wanted to go with something else? or could you rebuild by ct26 if so how much, My engine IS being bored, honed, new cam , blah blah ,blah and New 22rte pistons put it, It was a stock 22rte out of an 86 turbo truck, I was just going to enlarge the holes on the ct26 and clock it etc, Also I was wondering what size exhaust outlets you used on the flange for the manifold, I know lc engineering has 2 sizes One stock and one slightly bigger, Is that better for a turbo application in your opinion, sorry for all the questions your manifold seems like a good deal I just need to figure stuff out first, also How much to coat it?

robrub00,

An adapter would have to be made to bolt the CT26 to this manifold, with the stuff being done to your motor I think you would benefit alot from a Garrett T3/T4 turbo, I run a SC50R on my '94 4x4 truck, that turbo is a ball bearing that is the smallest of the "SC" series and is an excellent performer on my stock engine, even if you went with a SC50 (non-ball bearing) you would be able to produce close to 400 wheel horsepower as long as your engine/fuel system are up to the task. I currently have a GT28 actuator running a internal gate set-up that makes in total 8 PSI, and I have 8 PSI right at 2700~2800 RPM, even with running low boost like that you would have a more efficient (cooler charge temps) set-up running a SC50 versus your CT26. About LC flanges, yes the ones I get from them are the larger ones 1 5/8", the smaller one is 1 1/2" and is all cut out for the emissions crap, we also had the flange copied and have stainless steel flanges being cut as we speak because we have a header we want in full production and it doesn't make much sense like with LC's "stainless" header using a mild steel head flange.

Lastly, as far as coating it for you, to be safe I would say around 75~100 bucks. I can't really give you good quote on that because 95% of the stuff we do is all stainless or stainless and aluminum, so we don't get anything coated that often.

Thanks,
Rick
