I have a 1989 4Runner,,do you think they will fit? I am concerned with the front axel,,,it has the manual lockers. My brother in law lives in Austin and i can have him pick them up. If they fit I will take them. Let me know what you think.
Thanks,

Unfortunately I don't know either. I only really know my 4th gen. Maybe someone else on the forum will know. I'm not sure who to ask, but you could try asking in the main forums. If you decide to take a shot at it, let me know. BTW, the reason I am selling is that I went with some 17s from an FJC for a different look.

Can someone help me with this question? I believe the biggest concern would be the center opening, I am not sure what the dimension is and I want to say the bolt pattern would be the same also.

So basically the wheel spacing is the issue, if I am reading this right. The odd bolt pattern is from the Tundras only, correct?

I read it wrong the first time. It looks like it is just the new Tundras that have a different bolt pattern. That would make sense since they are so freaking burly. The post says that aside from '07 Tundra, all Toyota 6 lug bolts patterns are the same. I have a 2nd gen and a 4th gen 4runner but have never tested the bolt patterns to confirm this. The wheel spacer comment may be specific to the Tacoma. I also have a '98 Tacoma, and the front tires fit pretty close to the suspension.

I have some 17's off of a 4th gen on my 3rd gen (originally with 15's) Dont know if this helps or not but diff factory rims really sets off a truck, esp when they are larger.
