feeler: 86 4runner
alright i had this up a day or two ago and it disappeared so ill post it again....
maybe you guys can help me out.....ive got an 86 4runner with a 3 in body lift. it is not an sr5. the guy i bought it from had the motor and tranny rebuilt. im guesstemating it has maybe 20-25k miles on the motor and maybe 45-50k miles on the tranny (i could check to get the exact) and close to 200k miles on the odometer. it has headers (i am not sure what type they are), an upgraded cam, and a borla catback exhaust system. new 32" bfg KOs (few hundred miles on them maybe). i have recently raplaced simple parts such as fuel pump, starter, alternator, rear window switch in the tailgate, and maybe some more small stuff i cant think of. ac does not work. and the switch in the cab for the rear window does not work.
here are some pics:
These are before the new tires

this is my first car i am sellin and i would like some suggestions as to where to set the price at. i want to get as much as i can out of it and i am in no hurry to get rid of it right away. i was thinkin at settin it at 4000.....but i dont know that may be way too much to ask for it. if any of you guys or gals want it and are lookin for some sort of trade, the car i would want to trade it for is a bmw 3 series, preferably a 91.

As I stated in your last thread - check out KBB and input your info. You could "possibly" highball it and sell it for a couple hundred extra but no A/C is going to hurt you.

i paid 1900 for one w/ a new head and it only needed some tires. but it was gold and no body lift. w/ 186xxx miles, working a/c and rear window.
If i had 2500, id say thats right, id buy it.

yeh someone else told me 2500. i guess i was just expectin too much. and i dont think i would want to get rid of it for 2500. it may be what the car is worth, but i value it more than that if you know what i mean. i would much rather keep it. i think if someone offered me 3500 i would probably sell it if i had more money and could buy the car i wanted.

Nice truck. I would say you could get 3500 easy for it. May want to think twice about the early 90's bimmer though. My last car was a '92 325is and it was a maintenance nightmare. Parts are outrageously expensive, they're a bitch to work on and they WILL have problems. I hated that car, ladies loved it though
BTW: what size tires are you ruinning in the pics?Free bump.

yeh i would have to agree with you on the bmw....however my brother happens to be a bmw expert so he would be able to help me work on it.....the only thing i would have to worry about is buying the parts, because unfortunately he cannot get me any deals....however he does know who to buy from and who not to.
the tires in the pics are 32s. they are not the bfg KOs i have on there now.
here are some more pics i just took today...
