1998 Toyota 4runner:
122,000 miles
Black w/ Leather Interior
5sp manual transmission
4x4
10,000 miles on 2-3in Old Man Emu (OME) coil spring suspension lift w/ KYB shocks (still have stock suspension)
SS diffdrop, Panhard bar bracket, ebrake extension bracket.
60,000 miles on Mechanic installed Toyota Racing Development (TRD) Supercharger (I have stock intact manifold)
60,000 miles on Mechanic installed TRD heavy duty clutch (I have stock clutch)
1 year old BF Goodrich All Terrains 265/75/16 ~ 32”
Tow hitch (I installed about 10,000 miles ago)
New water pump and belts (including supercharger belt) -$700 service done this past winter. I have always used Mobile 1 full synthetic oil and have ALL records for last year and a half.
MPG: 17-22 during the winter I was getting about 17 mpg with 50/50 driving highway/city. During the summer I average 18 flat with 50/50 driving. On road trips I have gotten as low as 19 and as high as 23 mpg depending on driving conditions and speeds.
This truck is awesome, very powerful and fun to drive. It starts every time (even in the cold MN winters) and runs perfect. The interior is in very good shape, with only the arm rest on the driver’s door and the center console lid showing any significant wear. Both of which are an easy fix. The Running boards were replaced with Toyota mud guards; removed at the time of the lift was put on; they will be included with sale. The exterior of the vehicle is in OK condition. There are very few dents or scratches but the paint is not in the best shape. There are several defects in the paint and on the back hatch there are several cracks. This could be fix for around $300 by a body shop. The only other flaw on this truck is the chrome front bumper which after this last winter has begun to rust, no through rust but nevertheless still present. Once again a replacement chrome piece for the front bumper is available online or at a local wrecking yard. The frame is 100% rust free.
I took this truck off-road one time then decided to buy a 1985 4runner to use for off-road so this is a Daily Driver truck and has been well taken care. I love this truck and would like to see it go to a decent home who like myself loves Toyota trucks. The reason I am selling is because I now have 2 trucks and only truly need one. I decided that is I’m going to have a second vehicle it should be something that gets 30 MPG.

No low ballers but reasonable offers will be excepted!
This is a sweet truck that has been babied! Never towed anything, all maintenance (recent timing belt and water pump) and records clean title!
i found a car i want now i need to liquidate this to make a purchase.

Check out the autotrader posting for more pictures.
No sunroof.
Honestly i would find it hard to justify putting a new engine in this truck, it runs perfect and has plenty of power/torque. The gas mileage isn't as good as a diesel but it is not bad (17-23), plus with diesel prices compared to gas i would think it would be about an even trade (not counting the cost/trouble of a diesel swap). The engine has all of the scheduled maintenance done recently as well.
Let me know if your interest continues.

That is a nice truck and a good deal. If I wouldn't of purchased mine here recently, I would have bought yours for sure. I live in KS, but it would have been worth the drive. Nice Ride.

it would be mine if you where closer

A 5sp 3rd gen? With relatively low miles? With a factory installed supercharger? And you have to lower the price multiple times? Must be your area cause west coast would have snagged it already.
BTW my 4Runner gets even worse MPG and it's a slug on the road.
Good luck with the sale.

Thanks for the posts guys. yeah 4runners are just not selling Minneapolis. All the calls i have gotten on it have been from some place else...texas, washington, kansas, MI... sucks for me no one wants to travel.
(No locker, no sunroof, only two options it doesnt have that i know about)
I think the only deterant for this truck is the paint, which is cracking on the hatch and has a few other defects. But i runs perfect, gets decent gas mileage and has all uptodate maintenance.
I will lose my ass on this, but i need it gone, my fiance's ring is going to catch up with me if i dont get it taken care of.
Thanks for the support and mutual disgust at the market place.
