@$#%&$ FEDEX!!!! Cargo Cover end cap needed

So thanks to the amazingly idiotic wrappings of the Ebay seller, and the same ol same ol BS handling from USPS, the cargo cover I paid $75 for has a shattered end cap.

It is the pass side end cap. And of course, its the 99-00 light tan style.

Anyone who can help, i'd love ya forever.

Those are NOTORIOUS for getting busted...seems like I experienced the same thing and that piece is not sold separately so you are going to have to find someone who has one busted on the other side.

My advice would be to file a claim against ??? (who busted/shipped it USPS or FedEx) and get your money back in full and find another one and give the Ebay seller negative feedback.

problem being that the light tan ones are IMPOSSIBLE to find

I have a message in to the Ebay seller to see what he will do. Can the reciever do a claim, or does the shipper have to do a claim?

USPS shipped the part. The guy didn't offer insurance as an option, otherwise I would have purchased it. His version of "packaging" was a long box with two paper bags stuffed in each end.

1. Never buy without insurance.

2. Request a full refund from the seller as it is HIS fault.

3. Those end caps are notorious for breaking.

1. Yes father

2. I will see what he says, then request a full refund

3. Yep, i know that. But if the seller packaged them right, this would be a non issue.

It pretty well sucks since these style ones are so hard to find I have one from a 2002 that is nice, but it doesn't have all the same features as the 2000 style. They went cheap on the 01-02 style and it sucks.

Yep. Its ridiculous, you pay very high rates for the lowest of service available. I hate shipping companies. No one cares about your freight anymore.

I care about your freight Cougar. With me you'd get it in exactly the same condition we got it.
Of course with me you have to rent the whole aircraft and truck etc.... Can get very pricey... once took 2lbs. of cargo from Minneapolis to Montreal... boss only charged $6000.00 +fees.

So 2 ebay messages and an email later, no response from this guy, and he is an ebay power seller with over 9000 sales.

How long before I start a paypal claim and leave negative feedback?

So the guy refunded my purchase price only, and not the $25 i paid for shipping. Brian- in your experience, what can/should I do? If i leave negative feedback, he will do the same.

Agreed. I got tired of waiting for his response, and just left him negative feedback. Lo and behold, he immeadietly (sp?) emails me saying i was "too impatient" and if I would have waited, i would have gotten the other $25 back, and now he will "have to leave me negative feedback"

Lucky for me Ebay just started disallowing "retalitory" feedback. IE, if i give him negative feedback, he cannot leave me feedback. 4 messages and 3 days later, i didn't feel like waiting for his answers and excuses.

Im tired of all the BS on internet sales. Saving a buck just isn't worth it anymore.
