I saw you guys talking about lights and stuff. I know this isnt a fog light thread, but you guys might like what a friend of mine builds. They are LED light bars. They put a load of light and run off little power never getting hott. He sponsored the 1st place baja truck that won in class 7 truck. check them out. im ordering one for a roof rack.

Not really the place for this post hitunerkid87 but thanks for the info. I looked at the link... the light's seem a little heavy at 3lbs but I guess that is the aluminum case.

 

Yeah, the casing is a heatsink. So he had to build in plates. I'm not too familiar with yotatech so i appologize

Triple Edit: Also, you guys know to mount the ballasts somewhere cool right? Keep it away from coolant lines, etc.

A little update. They don't have the relays/pigtails. They are waiting for someone else to place an order at which point they will make some extra for us.

I'll let you know when this happens.

 

Anyone else have any issues with their lights turning into a yellow color?

 

anybody know where someone would pick up these conversion kits? or is it just HIDs and fiberglass?

 

What are we to do about bulbs?

 

I don't think that bumper/dam is actually for that model surf you can see it does'nt match the flare lines at all, as for the grill I've seen ads in tuner mags you could probably source the stuff from Kali. or else JDM since it looks like a JDM truck. I did'nt think you were the ricer type though...
