Exclamation ARB Front Locker RD90 - **BRAND NEW**

( MESSAGE EDITED, SEE BELOW PLEASE )

original message - I ordered an ARB front locker earlier this summer, and ran out of time / money to install it, so I've gotta give it up to pay the tuition and keep things in balance.

it is an RD-90, and from what I've heard fits most toyotas with IFS. You might have to look it up and double check just to make sure - in fact, please do that so there's no confusion. Also, other people in the board will definitely help out as always.

It's brand new, and only taken out of the box it was shipped in to take pictures.

included is the whole set up, the locker, hoses and wires, instructions...etc, everything you need to make it work.

please note: DOES NOT INCLUDE AIR COMPRESSOR

$600 OBO for all of what was said above including shipping.

THERE WILL BE NO "AUCTION" type ebay thing. August 30 doesn't mean anything unless it's someone's birthday or anniversary

Just PM me if you're interested in the locker -- I guess I'll just have to figure out the system.

and lets just leave it at that

What's the problem...put up the price you want and first person to pm you gets it. Simple. Then post its sold once you have the money.

I don't see anything wrong with what the seller is doing. IMO, It's hardly different than saying, "make an offer".

safado4, do you have any vouches?

I'm sorry to those who are offended by the "ebay approach" - just thought I'd throw down that idea, I've never really sold anything online before.

I didn't know the daily notification. It sounds like it would be helpful in my case - thanks for the tip doubledown. I'll keep that in mind.

rocket - as for vouches, i'm not sure what you want me to do in this case. I did buy it from Strap22 in may, through the toyota dealership in texas...

i guess early in the morning would be 6am, MST

So does this mean that it will be 7AM your time? Currently Utah is using Daylight Saving Time. So, 6AM MST would be 7AM MDT.

If you're going to have an auction can you give us a definite time and not just "whatever works"??? I mean geez, what kind of auction are you running here?

What if the bidding is at $500 at 5 to 7AM your time? But you're in Utah which is using Daylight Saving Time. So, 6AM MST would be 7AM MDT, and then I don't know when to bid and end up taking more than 5 minutes to make my bid and it ends up being too late. Will you still credit my bid? But then if you credit my bid would you credit other late bids? Then what if the late bids don't really have a credible excuse, will you credit their bids? But then if you decide to not credit their bids, how will you know whose excuse is credible and whose isn't, what will be the definitive factor?

OR, you could just give us a price you feel comfortable with and leave the auctions to ebay...

^ you could have just offered a suggestion.

Example: end the deadline on August 30th at 12:00 midnight pacific standard time. Problem solved.

I'm assuming he just misread 'JackKnife's post?

I'm sorry about all this, I had misread some posts thinking they were sarcastic or pretty much telling me to get lost and go to ebay. I hope I didn't seem negligent of peoples' concerns.

we'll just fix the problem, post a price, and never do the auction idea again. guess it wasn't such a great idea after all!

An auction is a great idea but eBay is definately the place for that, much better exposure too. On a forum you are much better off just posting what you want for it and negotiating with interested buyers toward an agreed upon price.

I'm surprised no one has picked this up yet. The price is under dealer cost.
