85 Solid Front Axle, EFI, Pickup, in East TN - $600 *PICS ADDED*
PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST!!
I've got an 85 Toyota Pickup for sale. It's an auto, 22R EFI, and of course has the SFA. It's currently rolling on some nice aftermarket aluminum wheels and 33x12.50s -- pretty worn -- and runs ok (smokes though). I've been driving it as a daily driver for the last 2 years and it does have its problems. I guess it would be a parts truck because the frame is rusted pretty bad in front of the rear driver's side leaf spring mount. Some people told me to repair the frame, but I don't have the time or money so I never checked into it. I quit driving it because the spring mount is rusted all the way around so if I flex it a lot, it pops and I'm afraid I'll completely tear it up. I have a clear TN title for it as well.
It has 210,000 miles and although the xfer case, tranny, and axles are ok, the engine does smoke. It was rebuilt before but I'm thinking the valve seals are the reason for the smoke but I'm not 100% sure. Smokes the worst when it sits at idle for a minute then you rev it up. Either way, if you want to strip this truck to do an auto conversion or a SFA conversion, it'd be great for that. THe bed is in awful shape as most are so don't get it for that
I can get pics or more info, just wanting to see if anyone is interested. If it wasn't for the SFA I know it wouldn't be worth much with the frame problem. Of course you'd need to trailer it. Well, you wouldn't NEED to but I won't sell it unless you trailer it. I've drove it for about 6 months since the frame got this bad or more and I've been ok, but I don't want to be responsible for a wreck or whatever.

For anyone else interested, I'm getting some pics up at lunchtime today, and I'm in Oneida. That's about 15 min south of the KY/TN line and about an hour north of Knoxville, or 3 hours north east of Nashville.
