22re cone filter adapter
I had this on my friends 1st gen 4runner with the 22re. I had to drill the 4 holes slightly bigger for it to properly lineup and bolt up to the afm. Doing so converts you to using cone filter which allow more air! Ditch your stock airbox!.

Do you still have these? Will it work on a 86 22rec?

i dont know can you tell me if they both have the same bolt pattern?

it should work, if it came off of a 1st gen 4runner originally.
