I recently decided to do something about my airbag light being on, so i dug into my FSM, and consequently, my truck, and 6 hours later, I discovered the switch was reading less than the required resistance. It needs to be replaced, so I am asking if anyone knows of a way I could get my hands on one of those switches.

It is the in-dash switch, toggle on/off, with an indicator telling you if it is on or off, and also, the words " Passenger Airbag" illuminate in green. It is fixed pretty well into that center dash bezel that contains the radio, climate controls, ashtray, etc. It should be to the left of 2 air vents, right at the top.

If anyone could give me a leg up on this one, it would be appreciated. I don't want to pay dealer cost!!!

Found one for $177 brand new, got the wife to search, she found one for $70 flat, brand new from a dealer.

Still don't know how she did it. Case closed!
