1996 SR5 5SPD V6 4runner
Lifted with SS lift #7. Lock Rite locker in the rear. Stubbs sliders. 16x8 Land Cruiser wheels with 285/75/16 mud terrains.
Truck is shown in my avatar. Need to get a commuter car. Price: $7000 for truck with SS #7 lift and 5 land cruiser wheels with mud terrains (tires are basically new).
141,000 miles runs like new.
Engine, brakes, clutch all runnng strong. Paint is faded. Truck goes ANYWHERE. Great desert vehicle.
SS#7 lift
5 BFG 33" on 16" LC wheels shown in avatar
Stubbs sliders
Lockrite in rear
stock 4.10 gears
synthetic fluids in everything
belts and timing belt done in last 5K
husky liners
toyota tow hooks on all four corners
new CVs and 1 spare
prabably other crap im forgetting
One dent in rear body panel that is not real big, lots of desert pinstripes, cut up fenders to fit the wheels with minimum lift. Not a mall crawler.
Prabably won't ever find a better deal and I will prabably regret selling for so cheap when I have 10K invested in this ride.

Say it isn't so! You have a sweet '96.
Just keep it and search Craigslist everyday for a $2,000~ honda, acura, or nissan. Thats what i did and don't regret it one bit. I actually took all the money i saved to mod my 4runner and bought a commuter car (Integra). With gas prices the way they are, it has been a great investment.
I spent $49 today to fill my 4runner, 15.5 gallons! But i'll never sell it.

well the prerunner is now 4x4 so I need to consolidate and get a small car to commute with. I would keep it, but I already have another toyota 4x4 and I just got a dirt bike that I need the truck to haul it around with. So having 3 cars insured (let alone parked in front of my house) just doesn't make sense. So the 4runner is gonna go if the price is right.

^ let me get all my camping gear out of the truck and vacuume it and I'll put some pics on this thread.

I am not trying to hurt your sale...just showing that it is a capable runner
I am confused about the prerunning being a 4x4 thing you posted earlier

wow Brad. Marc mentioned this to me a few days ago. Had no idea you were going to do so much vehicle swapping. I will give you a call this weekend to say hey.

ya, neither did i. Doesn't seem to be much interest in the runner anyways, so I don't think its going anywhere. I wheeled it last weekend, and would hate to see it go. But I could really use the money and a smaller vehicle.

bump, price lowered. great deal, truck needs a paint job, or just keep it the way it is and not worry about it.
