1988 Toyota Pickup (GA)

1988 4WD Toyota Pickup standard cab
Mileage: 156,XXX
Engine: 22RE (2.4L inline 4)
Transmission: 5 spd manual
Color: Gray
Asking price: $3500
Location: northeast of Atlanta, GA

Mechanically this truck is solid. The headgasket has just been replaced so the engine should not have to be touched for a long time. Timing chain was done at 127K miles. The bed has some rust on it, and the entire vehicle needs a paint job. The clutch should be replaced within the next 10K-20K miles. The truck is driven daily to work 20 miles each way and averages 22mpg. I have been the owner since Feb 2002, and my brother-in-law was a long time owner before that.

Features:
new 265/70R15 Dunlop A/T tires
SR5 aluminum wheels
engnbldr.com 270 cam
custom 2-1/4" exhaust from catalytic converter back (including larger Cat converter)
Uniden CB radio
A/C
bedliner
new brakes front and rear

I don't think I'm asking too much. Look at the links I posted for similar vehicles near where I live. The price is negotiable, of course. I did not state that the price was firm. Regardless, I would rather start too high (according to your opinion ) than too low.

How many miles were on the '85 that you sold?

I don't think it is to much. Where are the pics of the one you sold? Does it look as sweet and clean as this one does?

187xxxmiles with about 300 on the head gasket, timing kit, and about 3000 on the clutch installed. You tell me...is it as sweet?

Good luck dont get you panies in a buddle, its an Opinion. I do love that gray, but if the price was closer to this http://denver.craigslist.org/car/221024078.html id be all over it.

ahhh for ลลลลs and giggles

Sorry dude, but you were wrong... sold Saturday for $3000. I also had another offer for 3000, but the guy couldn't make it here until later this week.

I'm sorry you didn't get that much out of your truck. I probably would've paid more than the $2500 you sold it for since it's an 85 with EFI.

I think the big difference is that my valve cover is painted black and yours was not-- it adds about $500 I think. LOL

Damn! where was I when yall sold those things! Both are F***ing sweet! Would have paid more for the above yota. Since both look like they are in excellent condition and worth $3,000 I wouldve paid it no questions asked. Nice trucks! lol
