1986 4Runner SR5
For Sale 1986 4Runner 22RE 5spd 4X4 w/221kmi. Grey, with grey int. Tons of recent parts and maintenance. This is my daily driver. After having this for a year I am realizing that I just don't have time for the trails. I am hoping someone can give this old girl a better home. The truck and I are in Green Bay, WI. The first $3000 takes her home.
Please see the ShoeRunner Profile for lots of detail and pics of the truck. Here is a short list of the maintenance and mods I did. I also have some additional parts that I would like to pass on to the new owner like a set of tube steps and the old diffs.
MAINTENANCE
- prev owner told me that the timing chain was replaced at 200k
- Steering system (relay rod, tie rods, pitman arm, idler arm, stabilizer)
- suspension (new OEM shocks all of the way around, new leaf springs and bushings)
- changed many fluids (brakes with new rear cylinders and shoes, tranny, diffs, and several oil changes)
- new body mounts
- replaced spare tire mount
MODS
- diffs from an automatic
- 31" Khumos on black Cragars
- Airbox from downey (its got the sucky sound!)
- '06 Scion Pioneer radio
- 2" lift springs (just makes it sit level) from Downey with Poly bushings. The ride and handling are awesome!!! Wow, what a difference!
- Remote oil filter kit from Summit
- Manual hub conversion
Any questions please contact me soon at shoe007@hotmail.com or 920-217-0777. My wife insists I have this one sold before I can get anything else.

sorry for the delay, I didn't have this subscribed.
I still have the truck, I am not actively trying to sell it anymore, but my ears are open if you are still in the market

No longer for sale
It has been a week of soul searching and contemplation, but I am going to hang on to the "little elephant." Just can't see a gain out of selling it. Thanks to all.
