It?s ready to go.

I?m too new (and lazy) to figure out how to slap a picture on this forum, but I do have a heap of photos at the link below. Taken on 10/13/07 and 10/19/07. Specific photos available upon request.

A friend of mine recommended I put my truck on YotaTech. I?m new to your forums, so I?ll do my best to keep up with your questions. Ask away! Thanks for looking.

I got the rear bumper from a company called All Pro Off Road. Bolts right to the original bumper mounting points. It was shipped to me unpainted so I had it powder coated black.

Just so everyone knows, I do have the original bumper and the buyer can have it if wanted. It was slightly tweaked and made it difficult to open the rear tailgate, which is why I replaced it with the bumper seen in the pictures.

If you are talking about the All Pro Off Road bumper, I'm sorry, but no, I wont separate from my 4Runner.

If you are talking about the stock bumper that came off the truck, yes, I'll absolutely sell it separately. Unless someone comes along, buys the truck and takes the bumper with them before you get it. Let me know if you are interested, I'll dig it out of storage and snap some photos of it for you. Thanks.

Thanks. I wasn't a big fan on the blue interior at first, but it grew on me. The original owner had these bad yellow fluffy sheepskin type seat covers when I bought it, which I promptly removed.

I'm sure you'll be happy with that bumper when you get it. I like that it doesn't hang low like the stock bumper does. I never got a chance to wheel my 4Runner hard enough to give the bumper a chance to protect me from rock rash, but it did save my truck from the wrath of a run away shopping cart!

Quick update. The above link to the craigslist ad is expiring tonight. I'll put a new link up within the next couple days.

On a side note, I am going to take some new photos of the 4Runner today, so if anyone has a specific picture requests, this would be a great time to ask for them. You have three hours from now to get your requests in! Thanks.

I can't find any record of the timing chain ever being replaced. I know it wasn't done under my ownership (in the last 5 years/30,000 miles), and I searched every record I have from the original owner with no results. I'll have to assume the timing chain has not been replaced.

Water pump was replaced with a new one 4/01/03 at 166,267 miles.

Everything else on the motor is just your usual maintenance and tune ups. Here are some other specific items, both motor and non-motor related...

-New starter motor (8/1/06 at 180,441 miles)
-New thermostat (12/5/05 at 178,077 miles)
-4 new shocks (9/29/05 at 177,582 miles)
-New BFG MTR tires (4/14/05 at 175,151 miles)
-Front brake pads replaced(11/06/03 at 169,438 miles)
-New cat. converter (7/15/03 at 168,068 miles)
-Alarm installed (11/23/02)
-Replaced steering column (11/12/02 at 160,867 miles)
-Window tint added (6/24/02)
-New radiator (3/18/02 at 154,678 miles)
-New battery (3/21/07)

Quick update. I took a bunch of new pictures on 11/11/07. New angles, new lighting and different close-ups. I can still take specific photos upon request. Link to the photos below (same as my original post)...

For those of you who are interested, my new local craigslist ad link is below. Pretty much the same except the 4Runner now has 184,771.6 miles...

Thanks for looking and feel free to ask any questions.

Yep, still for sale. I was going to wait until later this week to announce this, but...

I'M REDUCING MY ASKING PRICE!

$5000/obo

Yep, everyone on Yotatech is the first to know. I'll post a link for the local craigslist ad in a few days, whenever time permits me to re-post it. Truck is still the same except a few extra miles and a couple weeks of dust.

Thanks. The 4Runner has been good to me. I'm kinda glad it hasn't sold yet cause I like having it around. Hate to see it go, but it truly deserves a better home. It needs to be used, fixed up or restored. Driving a day or two a week is doing nothing but keeping the mileage low. I'm not wheeling it as I originally intended, so it's time to part ways. The next owner will be happy with this truck.

Send me a PM or an email when you are ready move forward.

Anyone else interested in this 4Runner? I can answer just about any question about it. So ask away! There's nothing to hide or sugar coat. I'm an honest motivated seller who's willing to negotiate. I'm in no hurry, just ready to move on to other priorities.

I've never checked. I do know that it gets roughly 250-300 miles to the tank of 89 octane gas, but it varies depending on my driving. Coming down from the Sierras on the highway is when it's best, got gravity on my side. Putting around town seems to drink a little more. MPG has never been a concern, so I really don't have the detailed numbers. I would of noticed if there was a problem and there's never been any abnormal fuel consumption.

So I'll let you do the math. Anyone know how big the gas tank is? I think it's around a 15 gallon tank? Plug in the numbers and there you go. Enjoy.
