Your Photos of 255/85's
I started an identical thread in the newbie section accidentally, so I thought I'd get one going here too. Sorry for the newbie move.
Alright, I've done a bunch of searches and have seen expeditionwest's pages comparing tires and what not but I haven't seen enough photos of 255/85's mounted on users rigs for me to buy a set. I have stock gearing (4:10), OME/ Tundra lift, and ready for new meats! Sadly I still have my stock 265/70R16's and I'm just about ready to buy some new meats but I can't decide between 265/75 or 255/85. YES, I have thought about 285/75's but their just too wide (rubbing) and I heard mileage is better with the 255/85's. I'm not worried about rubbing at all with 255/85's, my main concern is mileage & power loss compared to 265/75's and of course looks. Can anyone who has 255/85's on their 3rd gen 4Runner post photos (side & front view) and whether their mileage has really suffered or not?
Thanks guys (& gals)

AWESOME photos, HUGE Thanks!
Azrunnin, thanks for the photos.
I've definitely got to get a set of 255/85's, your rigs look awesome! I like your painted wheels too.
Crolison, Thanks AGAIN for your photos. I wouldn't say "Not exciting", but at least you're out there having fun.
The cool thing about this size is that they're not TOO skinny (like real pizza cutters), next to no rubbing if any at all, and you get a smaller turning radius. I think I'm going with this size for sure. Thanks for the photos fellas.
Don't think my curiosity is exhausted, if you have any photos of your 4Runner equipped with 255/85R16's post your photos and show off those skinny meats for everyone else to see.
Thanks in advance.

I just got the 255 85 R16 KM2's a couple weeks ago. They are mounted on factory 16x7 jj's. NO rubbing what so ever. I have the SS # 1.2 suspension. they do not feel any heavier than my daily driver tires (265 75 R16 BFG At's) which are also mounted on factory rims. I have put them to the test in some mud and on some rocks and relaly like them better than my At's and the old MT's I use to have. They hardly make a noise on the road. My mileage has only gone down about 2 mpg.

Camp1,
I must say, the KM2's look sweet! Thanks for the noise and mileage info, that's the feedback I was looking for! I'm sure this will be helpful for all the others guys thinking about 255/85's too.
Thanks!
