yet another tire question- 265/75/15's

My wife needs new tires on her 2000 prerunner, they are 265/75/15 (stock size with the value pkg from toyota) I was going to get Michelin ltx's but they don't have in her size. She does not offroad and needs somethign good in the rain that will last a long time. Price isn't an issue (her dad is buying these for her B-day) Suggestions??? Thanks...

The BFG a/ts im running have been great. Probably one of the most popular tires out there. Some people say they dont do well in rain, but i have never had a problem with them at all.

And they are a good cross between a smooth street tires, and a meaty offroad tire.

I still think she should throw some 44" swampers on

I vote for the BFG A/T's as well. I did not have a problem in any season when they were on my truck. You might also look into some ProComp A/T's. These were my second tire and came with a 50K warranty. I thought they were slightly louder as they aged vs. the BFG but another great budget tire IMO. I currently am running PC X-treme A/T's, and still no issues. My x-treme A/T's did have much better adverse weather traction than the two previous tires did.

thanks to both.....I have bfg a/t's on my rig,.....and was going to get those for her but my experience is they have to be balanced more often. I would rather rotate myself and save money rather than having to take somewhere and pay for balancing...
