Question Why are Toyo tires so tough to get?

Seems strange. I've always heard that Toyo was a top-quality tire brand. But Discount Tire doesn't offer Toyo truck tires, and neither does Tire Rack...

Anyone know why?

I am probably going to have to get some from Tread Depot, but then I'm going to have to deal with the cold shoulder from whoever installs them (probably my local Discount Tire or Firestone store) since I didn't buy the tires from them.

Who can say it could be Toyo will not sell direct to them or drop ship.

Could be minimum order quantities are to high.

The only time I got tires new from a different vendor than who mounted and balanced them till I was done it was more expensive.

I have been dealing with the same tire dealer since the seventies.

I have run toyos before. Never will again. They're tough as nails but wear WAY too fast. BFG's are the way to go, but for cheap tires I love the Hancooks that I'm running so far. have about 4,000 miles on them and haven't had any problems and they are wearing nicely. I wouldn't buy toyos if I were you though.

We agree, they are extremely heavy and overrated. BFG's are great, Falcons are another option for cheap tires.

Thoughts on Cooper SST Pro? Looks pretty good and has good reviews.
