What's the deal with Tirerack?

I've bought a fair amount of stuff from Tirerack over the years. But in checking out tires for my 4Runner, they don't seem to have any alternative sizes. Just stock. And not much there.

I can't get the search function to bring up any 285 tire sizes with 16 inch rims. Or 255.

Is Tirerack just not the place to shop for tires for a 4Runner? I've never had any problems with my old Toyota pickup, BMWs or Subaru.

Or is the logical conclusion that I am just stupid?
