Definitely a major difference when I run my BFG A/T 32x11.5's at 35 vs 50 psi. especially on the freeway. Now I was wondering about what it says on the side of my tire. It doesnt state a max pressure but instead only shows what the max. load weight is for a pressure of 50psi. So is 50psi the max optimal pressure?

35 F 37 R on 265/75/16 BFG AT Load Range D

The load rating of your tire, and size will have an effect on how much pressure is required to reach proper inflation for your vehicle. As stated above that door jamb sticker doesn't work well for after market tires, sizes and different load ratings. I might put my BFG's up to 40 because they seem like they are wearing a little more on the outer edges than in the middle.

40 to 42 with my firestones as the installer set them at that.

no more then 42 ever.

dude 60 is max pressure on these tires, stick with 35 to 40 during summer or else those things will nearly explode

Yoko Geolanders AT II 265/75/16 -max is 65 psi... 32 on the front and 30 on the back. Use to run them lower but gas $$$ suck. Had them rotated two days ago and they were blown to 50 psi. About knocked my teeth out.

In town I run my 285 Revo's at 30psi but on the highway I'll bump them up to 45psi which usually gets me another 4mpg.

30-32 psi. 285/75's on stock rims. Close to perfect on chalk test. Still getting over 20 mpg on the hiway.
